Heart Connection
My heart and my body
long to communicate with me.
Yet, I become restless
about my sensations,
about my pain.
“Something is wrong. Look at me!”.
I contract, I feel compelled
to go to the medicine cabinet.
Or I analyse, I assess, I appraise.
What if I were to observe these sensations,
not as an opponent.
Instead, as a friend,
not wishing for their disappearance,
not desisting,
not disputing them,
no disagreement,
no dissension,
no detention,
simply watching what is.
What is my encoded message?
