What is a poem,

Prior to appropriated phrases and expressions?

Naked undercurrent in succession,

May be the reply of a monk in solemn.

Ideas that emerge,

Stirred by stark sensations,

Akin to bewildered paths upon invitation.

Or reverberations granting expression in dirge,

To what is no more.

Virtuous essence beguiled,

The transient unfathomable feelings of a child,

Or a loved one’s lore.
